What is RAISE Plus?
RAISE Plus was created by the Agriculture and Food Security (AFS) Office and the Environmental Office of the Economic Growth, Agriculture and Trade Pillar Bureau of USAID to better fulfill field 
Mission needs for world-class know-how and advice in support of the New USAID Agriculture Strategy, U.S. Foreign Assistance Strategy, and Millennium Development Goals.
RAISE Plus is a broad, multi-faceted field support mechanism based on the Indefinite Quantity Contract model, which facilitates quick response to assistance requirements in strategic planning and policy analysis, sustainable production, enterprise and market development.
RAISE Plus is a flexible contracting instrument, useful for quickly and efficiently obtaining technical services in support of plant and animal agriculture, forestry, fisheries, aquaculture, environmental and natural resources development, and eco-tourism.
RAISE Plus can provide short, medium, or long-term expertise at the level of sector, industry, value chain, commodity or theme, always with the purpose of accelerating economic development, raising rural incomes, creating wealth, and reducing hunger. Related training, grant management, and commodity procurement can also be arranged through this IQC.
