Wingerts Consulting has long-standing experience in the field of International Agricultural and Rural Development. The firm has provided assistance to USAID Missions in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Asia (including Central Asia). This assistance has covered a broad range of development initiatives, including:
- Preparation of Country Strategic Plans and agricultural and rural development assessments and strategic plans;
- Preparation of Concept Papers and Activity Approval Documents for agricultural and rural development initiatives;
- Elaboration of feasibility studies, business plans, and financial plans;
- Evaluation of activities, whether funded by USAID or other donors, that address issues related to the technical areas addressed in the RAISE Plus Project;
- Provision of technical assistance concerning development of public and private sector institutions related to agricultural education, research and extension, rural credit and microfinance, and promotion of non-traditional agricultural exports, etc.
- Preparation of endowment and other long-term financing proposals, focusing on sustainability of USAID assisted initiatives.
